The Lodi Oldtimers Little League has announced the winners of the Little League 2009 Scholarship Awards. The scholarships are open to all high school seniors who have played at least three years of baseball or softball in any Lodi Little League Program. Applicants are required to write a 500 word essay on their Little League experience. Two scholarships are awarded: one to a male and one to a female in the amount of $500.00 each. Additionally, this year one student will be awarded a $500.00 scholarship provided by George Panagiotou in memory of his wife, Pam Panagiotou. This year's Little League winners are Shanttel Liberato and Shane Smith. The winner of the Pam Panagoitou Memorial Scholarship Award is Angelo Annuzzi. |

The Boys & Girls Club of Lodi & Hackensack 5th Annual Golf Outing will be held on July 23, 2009 at Sky View Golf Club, 226 Lafayette Road, Sparta, New Jersey. For a map of the location, click here. Registration and breakfast will be at 8:00 a.m., with tee off at 8:30 a.m. Registration is $160 per golfer; hole sponsorship is $150, with other sponsorships also available.
